BASANT Mechanical Works' Two Point Power Press employs a dual-eccentric crankshaft mechanism to distribute the pressing load evenly across a wider bolster area. This design is essential when working with large-format stampings, wide progressive dies, and applications where the die load is significantly offset from press centre. The two-point drive eliminates slide tipping under eccentric loads — ensuring consistent flatness, part quality, and extended tooling life. Available from 100 Ton to 600 Ton.

Key Specifications at a Glance
In a conventional single-point press, the drive force is applied at the centre of the slide. When a die is placed off-centre, the slide experiences a tipping moment that causes uneven die loading, premature die wear, and poor part flatness. The Two Point Power Press solves this by applying drive force at two points equidistant from centre — internalising tipping moments within the drive system and delivering perfectly parallel slide motion regardless of die placement position across the full bed width.
Two synchronised eccentric drive points apply balanced force simultaneously across the full slide width — eliminating tipping under off-centre loading conditions common in large progressive dies.
Generously dimensioned bolster accommodates large multi-station progressive dies, transfer dies, and large-format tooling layouts that cannot be run on single-point presses.
Precision 8-point slide guidance system prevents angular deflection of the slide under eccentric loads, protecting both the dies and the press frame from premature wear and fatigue.
Both eccentric drives are precisely phase-synchronised to ensure perfectly uniform stroke motion across the full width of the slide at all operating speeds.
Forged alloy steel crankshaft, precision ground after heat treatment, with generous safety factor for continuous operation at rated tonnage on thick material blanking.
Automatic centralised lubrication ensures consistent oiling of all crankshaft bearings, slide gibs, and connecting rod joints throughout continuous production operation.
